Actually it has a motor, but apparently the guy failed at a swap because it's not installed, but stored inside the trunk.

Yep. Most Porsches have the engine over the rear axle (well, the 911's do anyway). It's a ton of miles for a German car but these are simple enough that you could rebuild anything on it.

hahaha, im only joking btw.. but yea, i think the car is easily worth it, but i guess the price makes sense, as its a targa (always the cheapest) and has crazy mileage for a sports car, and 98% rust free never sounds great.. id consider it, despite my pure hatred towards the targas..

Nice Price but expect the motor to need another rebuild, I'm sure he'll tell you it ran when they parked it but doesn't now after sitting. This is code for "needs at least an engine, maybe Trans rebuild. If it actually runs and drives it's a really nice price.

Was parked in storage. Motor condition unknown (it's CL "Runs good" and "yes there is in fact a motor in there" are the same thing). Body looks good. Depending on interior and actual engine condition this could be a NP
